I wanted to share this costume we put together for our son a few years back. This is Carson and his steed, Snickers. The pony's costume was all hand made by my husband and myself. They both looked awesome and won everything that day. :)

I managed to find and post a good portion of the missing photos, but was unable to find about 30% of them. I decided to delete many of the more common costume posts that were missing photos (mainly knights, Indians, witches, and unicorns). I do however, have some posts still up without photos because the costumes were very unique and I would like to find them again. If you come across any photos of the costumes that fit those empty posts please forward them to me at thesecondwaffle@gmail.com. Thank you all for patience and for your help!

The other update is that I have set this blog up so I can share from email. I have limited computer access, but do have email on my phone. I can now forward the costume emails sent to me, directly to the blog. I can also take pictures of costumes at shows and send them directly to the blog. I have a few emails saved and will be posting new costumes throughout the day by email.

Sorry about some of the photos not showing up. Blogger decided to stop hosting a very LARGE number of the costume photos. I've been aware of the issue for a few months now, but the computer that had copies of all photos crashed and I have been very busy so haven't had time to try to get them back up. I will be slowly trying to fix the issue.

If you previously sent me costume photos that are missing, please feel free to email them to me again. It would really help me out!

Hello!

Thanks so much for posting photos of horses/ponies in costumes. I got online this morning looking for ideas for this year (because we have a very tolerant pony who will let us do ALMOST anything w/her) and saw that you'll post photos. I'm submitting 2 photos of our pony in her costumes that you're welcome to post.

One photo is her dressed as a dragon and the little girl in the photo is a princess while her brother is a knight.

The other photo is of the pony dressed as America's first flag and the little girl is Betsy Ross while the little boy is George Washington. The flag was made so that the stars were attached by velcro so the flag was actually constructed under the watchful eye of George Washington and the judges/crowd.

You have my permission to post these photos if you think they'd be helpful to anyone else. Both costumes - by the way - are for sale if someone wants to buy them. I can be reached at linda@stonefoxfarm.net
